The HALT Foundation Celebrates Successful Open House and Fundraising Campaign

A group of people stand in a wooden stable corridor, interacting with horses in stalls. Some pet the horses while others watch or talk, with sunlight streaming in from the open end of the stable.

The HALT Foundation recently hosted an Open House at Rocky Hill Stables in Linville for mental health professionals interested in learning more about equine-assisted services. Guests had the opportunity to observe demonstrations, connect with industry professionals, and explore the evidence-based benefits of incorporating horses into the therapeutic process.

The event coincided with Mental Health Awareness Month and our participation in the national Horses for Mental Health Campaign. We are grateful for the incredible support received throughout the month.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and sponsors, the HALT Foundation raised  $14,000, surpassing our fundraising goal of $10,000. We also exceeded our donor goal, with 72 supporters contributing to the campaign!

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who attended the Open House, donated, sponsored the campaign, and helped advance our mission of expanding access to equine-assisted services and education.

Together, we are creating more opportunities for individuals, professionals, centers, and equine partners to benefit from the healing power of horses.
